Dr. Tarek is a consultant ophthalmologist with extensive international training and more than 20,000 successful eye surgeries. He graduated from Cairo University in 1996, became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2004, and completed a fellowship in Cornea and Refractive Surgery at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, Miami, USA, in 2009. He specialize in cornea, refractive surgery, and cataract surgery, and currently serve as the Medical Director of Sharif Eye Center at Dubai Healthcare City.
